Privacy Policy

Akaziprofile (akaziprofile.space) is a product of Akazispace. It lets you keep one professional profile, publish it as a public page, and generate CVs from it. When this policy says “we”, it means Akazispace.

Only what the product needs to work:

• Your Google account basics when you sign in: name, email address and profile photo. We never see your Google password.
• What you add to your profile: headline, about, experience, education, skills, projects, certifications, languages, links, contact details and photo.
• CVs you create from your profile and the versions you save.
• Messages visitors send you through your profile: their name, email and message.
• Profile statistics: daily counts of views, CV downloads, project views and where visitors came from (for example LinkedIn or email). We store totals per day, not a record of each visitor.
• If you upgrade to Pro: the payment reference, amount, method and the receipt you upload.
• If you turn on two-step verification: your authenticator setup key and hashed recovery codes.

To stop abuse we briefly keep request counters tied to a one-way hash of your IP address. The IP address itself isn't stored.

• To run your account, show your dashboard and build your CVs.
• To publish the parts of your profile you choose to make public.
• To deliver messages from visitors to your inbox.
• To show you your profile statistics.
• To review Pro payments and apply your plan.
• To send security emails, such as sign-in codes and alerts about changes to your account.

We don't sell your data, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't train AI models on it.

You control your profile's visibility in Settings:

• Public: anyone can view it, and it's listed in Explore.
• Unlisted: only people with the link can view it.
• Private: only you can see it.

Your email address and phone number are hidden unless you switch them on. Visitors can contact you through Akazi messages without seeing your details.

Your data is stored with Google Firebase (Google Cloud), which also handles sign-in. Security emails are sent through Google's email service. These providers process data on our behalf and under their own security and privacy commitments.

We keep your profile for as long as you have an account. Payment receipts are deleted once a payment has been reviewed; the payment record (amount, date, reference and decision) is kept for our accounts. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes.

You can edit or remove anything on your profile at any time, change its visibility, and choose which contact details to show.

To get a copy of your data or to delete your account, email akazispace@gmail.com from the address you sign in with. We'll confirm and complete it within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your profile, CVs, messages and statistics, and takes your public page offline.

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser keeps your signed-in session (through Firebase) and a few small preferences, such as notices you've dismissed.

Akaziprofile is for people aged 16 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from younger children.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell signed-in users in the app. Continuing to use Akaziprofile after a change means you accept it.
